Edo Museum Trip - by Ruby
Today we went to the Edo museum in Ryogoku. When we arrived, we divided into two different groups. An English tour guide went with us to explain about the different exhibits inside the museum. While we were there we looked at old artifacts from the Edo period.
We also saw a traditinal kimono and we were able to sit inside a Kago. We learned about the lifestyle of Edo-period people and we were able to visualize what life was like by looking at life-size buildings and miniature diaplays of villages. We also learned about the construction of a sail boat and Kabuki plays. The Edo museum trip was a good learning experience.
