Here are some reflections to the movie:

Jo – The first part was about the mother going to catch fish for the baby penguin. I like the part where the penguins were huddled together. It was sad when a baby penguin froze to death and the sad mother tried to take another baby from its mother.

Ki –I liked the part where the baby penguins grew up and swam alone in the ocean. Penguin baby is cute. The penguins’ baby’s voice is cute.

Y –It is happy. I like the penguins swimming.

Z – I liked the baby penguins. They were very cute.

Hr – The penguin was very cute. When baby penguins were in the egg, mommy penguins go hunting because when the baby hatches from the egg, it is hungry. My favorite scene is when the baby penguin hatch from the egg.

Hn – It was really fun! I like the part where the baby penguin was born. I like the sound of the penguin because it’s cute. I heard that the adult penguin’s tummy is white and the baby ones are gray. That’s because the babies are always hungry!

A –The mommy penguin lays the egg and goes hunting for two months. Daddy Penguin waits for mommy penguin and also protects the egg. The baby looked like a stuffed animal. The movie wasn’t scary. The Ebisu Garden Cinema was a nice place.

L –There were a lot of baby penguins. The mom and dad’s stomach is black. That means they are hungry. The mom and dad’s stomach is white that means they are not hungry. I felt sad when I learned that the daddy not eating anything for two months. It was so cold that some of the baby penguins died. The baby penguins are very furry.

Ka – I saw penguins. There were a lot of baby penguins. Mommy penguin goes somewhere (she goes hunting) and daddy penguin protgects the egg. Meanwhile, the daddy cannot eat at all. I think that is sad. The movie wasn’t scary at all. I was sleepy.

E – I saw a penguin and a leopard seal. My favorite scene was when the penguins were in a huge group. I felt good.
