Summer Programs 2006
We are having a fantastic summer at Global Kids Academy. The childre are having tons of fun while learning and thinking about the big issues that affect us all. In recent weeks, the children have studied topics such as Endangered Species (focusing on animals living in the Arctic region) and Extinct Animals (focusing on the Dodo Bird and the reasons for its extinction). Everyday, friendships are being formed and children are improving their language skills in very visible ways! We are full this week but may have an extra space or two in the final weeks of Session 2 so please check with us if you are interested!
Global Kids Academy provides children with cultural experiences in the center of Tokyo while learning English or Japanese. The Tokyo summer is hot and long but at GKA, the children learn in a fun, language-rich environment. In Session 1, we provide English Immersion class and Japanese Immersion classes along with Adventures in Tokyo, for school-age children. Session 2 is a summer day camp for kindergarteners to sixth grade. In both session, we offer the Early Advantage Program for pre-school children. We have numerous field trips and other enrichment activities throughout the summer. To get an idea of what the children did in previous years, please see our Summer Journals. Summer Session 2 July 24 - August 25.Due to the popularity of our summer programs, we may take on additional space within walking distance of GKA and if so, an announcement will be made to that effect. サマープログラムのレジストレーションデー（５月２６日）までに多くのアプリケーションをいただきました。その日までに受け取ったアプリケーションに関しては、スペースが確保できています。５月２６日以降は、スペース／生徒の年齢のバランスなどを考慮してお返事いたします。参加予定の方はどうぞお早めにご連絡ください。
今年からサマープログラムの兄弟ディスカウントも始めます。同じ週の参加の場合、２番目のお子さんは１０％、３番目の１５％ディスカウントになります。
２００６年 サマープログラム
グローバルキッズアカデミーでは、様々な文化を楽しく体験しながら英語、又は日本語を学べるサマープログラムを提供しています。残暑が厳しい東京でも、GKAの子供たちは言語に浸りながらさまざまな発見や交流ができます。セッション１ではイングリッシュ・イマージョンとジャパニーズ・イマージョンのクラスと同時に、東京アドベンチャーを行います。セッション２では、サマーデーキャンプを開きます。対象年齢は、幼稚園から小学校６年生までです。たくさんの遠足に行き、充実したアクティビティーを通して楽しく学ぶことができます。参考として、前年のサマージャーナルをご覧ください。
